About Seth. G.L. Bihani S.D. College of Technical Education
The visionary idea to educate the mankind conceptualized in 1951, named Seth G.L Bihani S.D Shiksha Trust is a Not-for-Profit trust working with a missionary zeal, providing selfless service to the people at large for over nine decades. In 2005Seth Sushil Kumar Bihani SD Shiksha Mahavidyalaya , was established with the team of educationalists, with the mission to provide quality education to society. Students are imbibed with the seeds of knowledge and Indian values to serve the Nation.
The constant endeavour to promote higher education and serve the societal needs resulted in receiving several recognitions and accolades. These are the landmark for the institution, which act as inspiration to put in more effort for constant growth in a positive direction.
Seth G. L. Bihani S. D. College of Technical Education (Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Drug Research) was established in the session 2000-2001 under the patronage of its parent body G.L. Bihani, S.D. Shiksha Trust. The Institute is located in the city in a sprawling campus spread over in fifty bighas of land. The institute is recognized by PCI and affiliated to Rajasthan University of Health Science (RUHS) and is imparting both B.Pharm. and D.Pharm. courses. It encompasses eighteen well equipped laboratories, highly sophisticated analytical Lab.industrial pharmacy lab to meet GMP guidelines having latest equipments. The students are also provided opportunities for extracurricular activities by participating in sports, in declamation contests and seminars. The students are also exposed to latest knowledge by inviting eminent guest scientists in pharmacy. All efforts have been made to create a very healthy and academic environment to help student to grow and think independently. The institute has also created infrastructure to carry out research and many faculty members are pursuing for their doctoral degree and their research papers have been published/accepted for publication in journals of high repute.
